Candidates should have a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-approved college/institute or recognised university. Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science / Computer Science Engineering UR, EWS and OBC(NCL) candidates should have First Class, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates should have Pass Class in the required qualification.

Selected candidates for Deputy Engineer E-II (FTE) posts will receive salary as per the pay scale mentioned below. Apart from basic pay, candidates will receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of basic pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Insurance, Medical facilities and Provident Fund as per company rules.

Candidates have to pay the application fee through SBI Collect. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

The selection process for BEL Deputy Engineer Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages: Shortlisting based on application and submitted documents Written Test Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Written Test of 85 marks. Based on Written Test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio category-wise.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the Written Test after screening of applications and documents. The selection will be through Written Test followed by Interview for candidates who qualify in the written examination.
