Key points on the fee, as laid down in the CEE Kerala Prospectus:

• The fee must be paid online to CEE before registering options.
• Once paid, the registration fee cannot be changed under any circumstance.
• If a candidate does not get any allotment, the fee is refunded.
• If a candidate gets an allotment but does not join within the stipulated time, the fee is treated as a penalty and is not refunded.
• If a candidate quits the seat after taking admission, the option registration fee is treated as a penalty and is not refunded.

How to Apply: CAP Option Registration Steps

• Visit the official website: cee.kerala.gov.in
• Click on "Three Year LL.B 2026 - Candidate Portal."
• Log in using your Application Number and Password.
• Pay the option registration fee online (Rs. 1,000 for General, Rs. 500 for SC/ST/OEC) before registering options.
• Click on "Option Registration" and select colleges/courses in your order of preference.
• Save and submit your options.
• View and print the list of options you have registered, for your reference.

Important Instructions

• Do not send printouts of application, acknowledgement, or option pages to the CEE office by post - only the online submission is valid.
• Only one online application is permitted per candidate for the Three Year LLB programme.
• Defect memos, if any, are issued only through the Candidate Portal and intimated via SMS - no communication is sent by post.
• Allotment of Government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges is subject to Government approval, University affiliation renewal for the academic year, and Bar Council of India accreditation.
• New colleges may be added to the CAP list during the process, subject to Government sanction and university affiliation.
• Once an option registration fee is paid, it cannot be modified - review your category and details carefully before payment.
