The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), located in Girinagar, Pune - 411 025, operates under the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. The Institute has organized a walk-in interview for a Research Associate (RA) to work under the Institute level research project titled “Lead-Free Halide Perovskite Thin-Film Memristors for Resistive Switching and Neuromorphic Device Applications” in the Dept of Applied Physics.

The upper age limit for the Research Associate (RA) post is not to exceed 35 Years as on the crucial date of 30th October, 2026. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹67,000/- (Consolidated). In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended.

Original Certificates/Testimonials etc A set of attested copies of each ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer (mandatory for candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies)

Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 30th October, 2026, at 1100 Hrs at the Institute. Candidates must bring their original Certificates/Testimonials etc along with a set of attested copies of each for detailed scrutiny.

The position is purely temporary for 04 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. The above offer does not confer any right for absorption in DIAT, Pune. It may be terminated at any time on one month’s notice. No TA will be paid for attending the ‘Walk-in-Interview’.
