Candidates applying for DVC Overman Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the educational qualification and experience requirements mentioned in the official notification. Candidates must have: Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute. Valid Overman's Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal under CMR 2017/CMR 1957. Valid First Aid Certificate from any institute/organisation recognized by DGMS. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of post-qualification working experience in open cast coal mines as Overman. The maximum age limit for candidates applying for DVC Overman Recruitment 2026 is 55 years as on the closing date of online application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Candidates selected for the DVC Overman Recruitment 2026 will receive a monthly consolidated pay of ₹45,000/- . The engagement is purely contractual and the selected candidates will not be entitled to regular absorption in DVC in the future.

The initial appointment period for DVC Overman posts will be 5 years . The contract may be extended for another 2 years based on performance evaluation and management approval. The performance of selected candidates will be reviewed annually. Extension of the contract will be considered after yearly performance evaluation. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis.

The selection process for DVC Overman Recruitment 2026 will be based on Interview / Skill Test . However, DVC management reserves the right to conduct additional screening tests, trade tests, skill tests or other assessments if required. The selected candidates may be posted at any field formation, coal mines or joint venture locations of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
