Important: The notification prints the tentative interview dates as “30-09-2026 or 01-09-2026.” Since 1 September 2026 is before the notification and application closing dates, candidates should verify the corrected interview schedule on the ESIC recruitment website or through their registered email.

The vacancies are distributed across the following medical departments: Anaesthesiology Anatomy Accident and Emergency Biochemistry Blood Bank Chest Community Medicine Dermatology ICU ENT Eye Forensic Medicine Microbiology Medical Oncology Medicine Obstetrics and Gynaecology Orthopaedics Psychiatry Physiology Pharmacology Paediatrics Pathology Radiology Surgery The vacancy table on pages 1 to 3 of the notification provides the department-wise and category-wise distribution. The advertised vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease according to teaching and patient-care requirements.

The educational qualifications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts will be governed by the National Medical Commission guidelines dated 30 June 2025. Candidates should possess the applicable MBBS and postgraduate medical qualifications, such as MD, MS, DNB or another recognized qualification, for the relevant department. Applicants must also have updated registration with the National Medical Commission or the appropriate State Medical Council.

The 50-year limit applies to Senior Resident posts in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine. Age will be calculated as of the interview date. Applicable relaxation will be provided according to Government of India rules.

Other allowances will be provided where applicable and admissible under ESIC rules.

The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESIC Saving Fund Account No. 2 , payable at Namkum. The Demand Draft must be submitted with the application form. The fee is non-refundable.

The initial contract period is one year. The contract may be extended annually for up to three years based on satisfactory performance. The appointment may end earlier if a regular employee joins the post. The maximum engagement may continue only until the candidate reaches 70 years of age. Selected candidates must deposit a refundable security amount of ₹30,000 at the time of joining. Private medical practice is strictly prohibited. No accommodation will be provided. The appointment does not provide a right to regularization. Selected candidates must execute an agreement on ₹100 non-judicial stamp paper.

Applications received after 21 September 2026 will not be considered. A separate application must be submitted for every post applied for. Incomplete applications or applications submitted in another format will be rejected. Candidates working in Government, autonomous or statutory institutions should preferably produce an NOC during the interview. No travelling allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview. EWS certificates must relate to the financial year 2025–26 and must have been issued on or after 1 April 2026. OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate in the prescribed Central Government format.
