B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience in the specific specialization applied for; OR M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (with relevant specialization) and 3 years of relevant experience. Minimum 65% marks in the qualifying degree (60% for SC/ST category candidates applying against reserved posts). The Bachelor's/Master's degree must be a full-time regular course from a UGC-recognized Indian University, UGC-recognized Deemed University, or AICTE-approved course from an autonomous Indian institution.
