Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned. Master's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent. NET/SLET will be an essential qualification in the discipline where NET/SLET is conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or any other Central/ State Govt. agency. In case where candidate with Ph.D.'s. degree or NET/SLET is not available, the essential qualification shall be first class M.Sc. degree in related discipline.
