GGSGH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 9 Posts

Guru Gobind Singh Govt. Hospital is a Government of NCT of Delhi hospital at Raghubir Nagar, New Delhi-110027. This recruitment is run by the Office of the Medical Superintendent. The posts are vacant within the sanctioned strength of Senior Residents and against vacant posts of non-teaching specialists as on 27 October 2026. They are being filled under order No. F.11/92/H&FW/2017/HR-Med/688-92 dated 17 July 2017 of the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

The number of vacancies may change. It will be counted as on the date the result is published, and the number of SR vacancies may vary at any time. If no SC, ST, OBC or EWS candidates are available, UR candidates may be considered. The Senior Resident (Radiology) will be allowed to work 2-3 days a week in the Department of Radiology, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Hari Nagar, New Delhi. Age limit: 45 years. Qualification (mandatory): MBBS with P.G. Degree/Diploma/DNB, or three years of experience in the concerned specialty, from a recognized university or institution. Candidates must also hold a valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council. Senior Residency condition: (a) Candidates should not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution, counting both regular and ad hoc periods. Candidates who have completed 03 years of Senior Residency can also apply, but preference will be given to those under (a). The notice says all other provisions for persons with disabilities will follow the applicable norms and guidelines. Senior Residents are paid at Level-11, with an initial basic pay of Rs. 67,700 – Rs. 208700, plus admissible allowance.

Selection is by walk-in interview. The hospital checks original certificates at the interview. Results and other notices are posted on www.health.delhigovt.nic.in , ggsgh.delhi.gov.in and the hospital notice board.

The appointment is purely ad hoc, for 89 days or until the post is filled by a regular or ad hoc SR or specialist of the department, whichever is earlier. A DMC certificate must be submitted within 2 weeks of joining. If it is not, the service may be terminated. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
