Note on a date discrepancy in the source notification: While the schedule table above (and the fee-payment section) state the online application window as 10.08.2026 to 31.08.2026, a separate line elsewhere in the same notification states "Candidates can apply online only from 01.08.2026 to 20.08.2026." This inconsistency exists in the official notification itself and has been reproduced here without alteration. Eligibility is assessed as on 10 August 2026. Candidates must be domiciled in Gujarat State and must produce relevant original documents (with a photocopy) in support of their identity and eligibility, as and when called for. No change in the category, age, educational qualification, or other details provided during online registration will be permitted at any stage after submission of the application. The minimum qualification for recruitment to the Clerical cadre is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% marks. However: Candidates holding a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree are not eligible . Candidates holding degrees in Engineering are also not eligible , except those holding a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (BE/B.Tech or equivalent). The notification does not mention any fee concession or exemption for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen or other categories; the fee of Rs. 590/- (inclusive of GST) applies to all candidates as per the notification. Selection consists of an Online Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview. A candidate must qualify in both the Online Examination and the Interview to be considered for the subsequent recruitment process. All test papers will be available only in English. The Bank reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination, which will be intimated through its website. A penalty of 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question is applied for each wrong answer (negative marking). Test-wise and total scores are reported with decimal points up to two digits, and scores may be equated across sessions to adjust for minor differences in difficulty level.
