Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay of ₹40,800 per month for the first five years, as per the Finance Department resolutions (last revised 18 October 2023). After five years of satisfactory service, the candidate becomes eligible for regular appointment in the 7th Pay Commission pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5), subject to the outcome of Supreme Court cases SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012.

Fee must be paid online only - via Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets - after generating the confirmation number. Applicable transaction charges apply in addition to the exam fee. Selection will be made through a single-stage Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR-based objective (MCQ) written examination, followed by document verification. Combined duration for Part A and Part B: 3 hours (180 minutes). Negative marking: 1/4th of the marks allotted to a question is deducted for every wrong answer.
