Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/Institute. At least 3 years' experience as UDC (or equivalent, Level 4) or 8 years as LDC (or equivalent, Level 2) in a Central/State Govt./University/PSU or other Central/State autonomous body, or an equivalent position. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates is as per DoPT/Government of India rules. Age relaxation for existing HNBGU employees follows Clause 32(a) of the University's Cadre Recruitment Rules. Reserved-category candidates applying for an Unreserved (UR) post are not entitled to any age or marks relaxation.

Exact in-hand pay is not specified in the notification — it follows the 7th CPC pay matrix for Level 06 and Level 07, plus applicable allowances. No interview will be held for Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts carrying Grade Pay of ₹4,600 or less, as per MHRD letter No. 19-50/2015-Desk-U dated 22.12.2015 — this applies to all 12 posts in this notification. The University reserves the right to conduct a written test/skill test for any post, as per its Cadre Recruitment Rules, if it deems fit.
