At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Forensic Science (with specialization/ dissertation work/ course work/ project work in the field of Chemical Sciences). OR At least 2nd class M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry, Pharmacy/ M.S.(Pharm.)/ M. Pharm. from a recognized University. Minimum three (03) years of post-qualification experience (acquired after obtaining the degrees mentioned above) in Research, Training and Analytical Work within any of the subjects as specified above. Any research work conducted specifically for the completion of a Ph.D. degree shall be counted towards the total required experience of three years.

Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 45 years Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules. Five years relaxation in upper age limit is admissible only to the Bonafide S.C. of H.P. / S.T. of H.P. / O.B.C. of H.P./W.F.F. of H.P./Persons with disabilities of Himachal Pradesh. For H.P. Govt. employees and Ex-Servicemen of H.P.; age relaxation is as per Government’s instructions issued from time to time.
