The total number of vacant Lady Supervisor posts under Samayed Bal Vikas Seva Yojna (ICDS) Buxar is 22, reserved for working Anganwadi Sevikas on a contract basis. The category-wise vacancy distribution is as follows: The maximum number of vacancies are allocated under the Unreserved category (08 posts), followed by the Extremely Backward Class category (05 posts).

Applicants must be working Anganwadi Sevikas under Samagra Bal Vikas Seva Yojna within Buxar district. Candidates must be permanent residents of Buxar district. The educational qualification required is Matriculation or an equivalent examination pass. Candidates must have completed 10 years of continuous service as an Anganwadi Sevika as of 01.01.2026. The upper age limit is 45 years as of 01.01.2026, with an 11-year relaxation in the upper age limit. Female candidates belonging to respective reserved categories must possess valid supporting certificates such as caste certificates, creamy layer exemption certificates for backward classes issued by competent authorities, and residential certificates.

Selection for the Lady Supervisor post is based on a merit list prepared according to the marks obtained in educational qualifications (Matric, Intermediate, graduation, and postgraduate exams) and bonus marks assigned for continuous service. Bonus marks are awarded at the rate of 1 mark for each completed year of continuous service as an Anganwadi Sevika up to a maximum of 10 years (10 marks). Additional bonus marks are granted for national or state awards received as an Anganwadi Sevika, and for higher educational degrees (intermediate, graduation, and post-graduation) and academic achievements for candidates with National/State awards, subject to prior official departmental permission for acquiring higher qualifications. Final selection excludes candidates with adverse records or disciplinary action.

The selected Lady Supervisor works on a contract basis under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) program within Buxar district, supervising Anganwadi centres, monitoring nutrition and health schemes, and coordinating grassroots implementation as per the guidelines of the Directorate of ICDS, Bihar, Patna.
