Sr. Project Assistant (UDC): Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of the walk-in interview/written test. Project Technical Support III (Post 2 and Post 3): Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the walk-in interview/written test. Project Technical Support II: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of the walk-in interview/written test. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, retrenched Government employees, departmental candidates (including project staff), and Ex-servicemen, as per Central Government/ DoPT/ ICMR instructions issued from time to time. Age concession is also admissible to the extent of service rendered in other research projects for experienced and skilled persons. SC/ ST/ OBC candidates get age relaxation only for positions reserved for their category, not for UR positions.

Tenure for all posts is initially up to one year, extendable as per norms; positions may be terminated at any time. Emoluments are project-specific and depend on fund availability from the funding agency.

Only eligible candidates will appear for the Walk-In Interview/Written Test. If more than 30 candidates apply for a post, a written test will be conducted. Qualifying marks: SC/ST - 35%, UR/OBC/EWS - 40%. Candidates who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for interview based on the post-wise number of candidates to be interviewed (see table below). Final merit is prepared based on combined marks of the written test and interview. If a written test is not conducted (fewer than 30 candidates), merit is based solely on interview marks.
