IDBI Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 31 Posts

Candidates must complete registration and fee payment within the notified window, as late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

The 31 vacancies are spread across four functional areas and three officer grades, with Manager (Grade B) accounting for the largest share of openings. Note: The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary as per the Bank's actual requirement. IDBI Bank may also select an applicant in a lower grade than the one applied for, at its sole discretion.

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD categories has been provided grade-wise as per Government of India guidelines.

Eligibility for each post depends on the specific educational qualification, age, and work experience notified against that post and grade. Candidates must satisfy all three criteria as on the cut-off date to be considered. Note: Only full-time, permanent employee experience is considered. Experience gained through staffing/manpower agencies, contractual roles, or outsourced payroll will not be counted. Experience below 6 months in any organization is not reckoned. The relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on a cumulative basis with only one of the remaining categories (c to e above). There is no reservation for Ex-servicemen in the Officers' cadre.

IDBI Bank offers a structured pay scale along with allowances, perquisites, and Performance Linked Variable Pay as applicable to each grade. Selected candidates are covered under the IDBI Bank Ltd. New Pension Scheme (IBLNPS) Rules, 2011. Initial appointment for all posts is on probation for 1 year, ordinarily confirmed on completion of the probation period.

The application fee varies by category and must be paid online only; it is non-refundable under any circumstances. Payment can be made via Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, or Wallets. Bank transaction/convenience charges must be borne by the candidate.

Selection is based on a multi-stage process, and merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the next stage. Preliminary Screening: Based on age, educational qualification, and experience declared in the application form. Document Verification (DV): Verification of all declared details against original documents. Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are called based on qualification, experience, and overall suitability. Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT): Final offer is subject to being declared medically fit as per the Bank's Medical Fitness Standards. IDBI Bank reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel any part of the selection process, method, or criteria at its discretion.

Candidates may apply for only one notified position; multiple applications will be rejected without refund. Training, Internship, Apprenticeship, Teaching, Graduate Trainee, or Retainership experience will not be considered against any advertised role. Candidates already employed in Government/PSU/Public Sector Banks must produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of Personal Interview.
