Project Associate-I (Post No. - 1): M.Sc. / B. Tech in Life sciences / Biotechnology / Bioengineering / Chemistry or related areas with minimum 70% marks / equivalent grade. Prior hands-on experience in yeast genetics, molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry techniques are a must. Hands-on experience with budding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) strain construction, genetic crosses, transformations and standard yeast assays. Wet lab experience during Master's thesis is a must. Experience of having handled/completed multiple independent projects. Prior experience with fluorescence microscopy (widefield/confocal, live-cell imaging) and quantitative image analysis will be strongly preferred; familiarity with condensate biology, proteostasis or cellular aging is an advantage.
