Candidates must meet the essential qualification, experience, and age criteria specified in the official notification: Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 5.0 on a 10.00 scale; OR Engineering Diploma in the same disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 5.0 on a 10.00 point scale; OR Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and an ITI Course of one year or higher duration in the specified engineering trades; OR Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and an ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in the specified engineering trades. The technician will assist in operating and handling equipment under proper supervision, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. Responsibilities include improving technical skills, safety awareness, problem-solving ability, and confidence in using engineering tools. The role involves managing lab work and machine-based activities in Work Studio-1, Work Studio-2, and Maker Space for the Unified Engineering Course.
