IREL (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy, with its Corporate Office at Mumbai. The company operates Atomic Mineral Mining and Mineral Separation Plants at Chavara (Kerala), Manavalakurichi (Tamil Nadu), and Orissa Sands Complex — OSCOM (Odisha), producing Ilmenite, Rutile, Zircon, Sillimanite, and Garnet. It has also set up a Rare Earths Extraction Plant (REEP) in Odisha and a High Pure Rare Earths (HPRE) plant at RED, Aluva. All prescribed qualifications must be with First Class (60% marks in aggregate) for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates. This requirement does not apply to qualified CAs/CMAs/CSs. Courses must be full-time/regular and recognized by the State/Central Government/UGC/AICTE, as applicable. For non-technical posts, qualifications via Online/Distance Learning from recognized universities/institutions are also considered, subject to conditions. If a course does not indicate percentage/first class, a conversion certificate from the university is required; in its absence, a minimum of 6 on a 10-point scale will be treated as 60%. The upper age limit varies by post and grade, as detailed in the vacancy table above (ranging from 28 years for Assistant Manager posts to 50 years for General Manager). Age relaxation applicable: In any case, the upper age (including all relaxations) shall not exceed 56 years.

In addition to CTC, Performance Related Pay (annual) will be provided as per rules. The Senior Manager (Medical), E-4 post also carries Non-Practicing Allowance, currently 20% of Basic Pay. Reservation and relaxation for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD (40% and above disability)/Ex-servicemen candidates follow Government of India guidelines. Reservation for PwBD is on a horizontal basis.
