The recruitment is being carried out under the Special Recruitment Drive for Divyang candidates, in line with General Board Resolution No. 46 dated 25/01/2024 and the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. A total of 9 posts are being filled under this Special Recruitment Drive, reserved entirely for Divyang candidates. These vacancies are being filled under the Divyang reservation quota of the administrative and technical cadre and are not available to general (non-Divyang) candidates.

Only candidates with a benchmark disability (40% or more) in the categories specified below for each post are eligible to apply. Candidates must also be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee/person of Indian origin from specified countries who has settled in India with the intention of permanent residence (subject to an eligibility certificate from the State Government where applicable). Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, and English, with command over Gujarati.

Maximum age limit for Divyang candidates: 45 years Age will be calculated as on the last date of online application Age relaxation as per prevailing Gujarat Government rules is applicable to reserved-category and other eligible candidates within the Divyang pool

Selected candidates will be appointed on a probationary basis for the first 3 years, during which they will receive the fixed monthly pay indicated above, and will need to pass departmental exams before being confirmed on the regular pay scale.

Selection will be made through a competitive written examination conducted by the JMC Staff Selection Committee Selected candidates will be appointed on a 3-year probationary basis During probation, candidates must pass the applicable departmental exams, computer proficiency exams, and pre-service training exams as per the recruitment rules for the respective post A provisional/waiting list is not the same as a final selection list
