This notification is for staff selection in newly upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalayas of Hamirpur district on a contract basis. Note: The stated honorarium includes 13% EPF contribution of the employer where applicable (for staff whose salary is up to Rs. 15,000).

This notification covers 21 vacant teaching and non-teaching posts in existing Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas running classes 6 to 8 in Hamirpur district, following orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition No. 13563/2022 (State Project Director vs Saroj Morya and others). The contract period for these posts will be for 11 months 29 days, ending on 28 February 2027.

Educational Qualification: Principal: Trained postgraduate in relevant subject with minimum four years teaching experience as a trained graduate teacher, or equivalent qualification as specified in the notification. PGT Hindi/English/Maths/Biology/Chemistry/Physics: Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or equivalent training qualification. Computer Science Teacher: MCA/B.Tech (Computer Science) or postgraduate diploma in computer applications from a recognised university. Care Taker: Class 12 pass. Lab Assistant: Diploma in laboratory technique with Science in High School, or Intermediate with Science stream. Office Superintendent/Clerk: Intermediate pass with Computer Science subject or a recognised computer diploma/certificate, along with minimum typing speed of 25 wpm Hindi and 30 wpm English. Monthly remuneration is fixed as per the post applied for and ranges from approximately Rs. 6,433 for Cook and similar posts to Rs. 30,000 for the Principal post. Selection for both notifications will be made purely on the basis of merit calculated using weightage marks, with interviews only for specific posts: For Assistant Cook posts (existing KGBV), selection includes an interview of 50 marks: 20 for physical capability, 20 for cooking knowledge, and 10 for experience. For Chowkidar posts (existing KGBV), the interview carries 50 marks: 25 for physical fitness and 25 for general knowledge. If two or more candidates score equal marks, the older candidate is ranked higher; if age also ties, candidates are ranked alphabetically by name.
