KSSM Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Kerala Social Security Mission describes itself as a Government of Kerala undertaking that caters to the social security needs of the underprivileged. It is based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Medical Officer will work in the Mittayi Project, an initiative of the Government of Kerala's Social Justice Department that provides comprehensive care to children and teenagers in Kerala who have Type-1 diabetes. The notice does not require any minimum experience. However, experience is taken into account during selection, and the application form has a section for work experience. Only candidates with the prescribed qualification should apply. Ineligible applications will be rejected without further communication. Ineligible applicants may be removed at any stage of the recruitment. In the declaration on the application form, each applicant confirms that they hold MBBS with TCMC registration. Salary: Rs. 56,910/- per month. The notice calls this a consolidated pay. Nature of appointment: purely on a contract basis under the Mittayi Project. Contract agreement: the selected candidate must sign a contract agreement with Kerala Social Security Mission (KSSM). Term: initially one year from the date of joining. Extension: the contract appointment may be extended, depending on the candidate's performance and integrity and on what KSSM needs. The notice says the recruitment is for an immediate requirement.

The notice lists these responsibilities for the Medical Officer: Maintain the record of all child/adolescents enrolled, recommended and rejected in the project. Analyze the data and prepare reports based on online entry. Follow up and ensure appropriate management of each of the cases. Liaison with the parents. Scrutiny of applications received via Mittayi Software and submitting the list of application before Mittayi State Technical Committee. Co-ordination of the functioning of all Mittayi Clinics. Assist and ensure smooth and proper delivery of services to Mittayi clinic associated with Medical College Hospitals and satellite centers.

Selection will be based on qualification, experience (if any), and performance in the written test, the interview or both, as applicable.
