The two drives together account for 6 vacancies, all on a Project Based Contract Staff basis.

Eligibility differs by post and project. Candidates should assess their qualification and experience against the specific post they are applying for.

NABCONS has not specified fixed pay scales for any of these 6 posts. As per both notifications, selected candidates will be paid a consolidated professional fee based on their experience, educational qualification, and overall suitability for the post, and the amount will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and last drawn salary. Tax will be deducted at source under the applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act. Exact fee figures are not specified in either notification.

Project Manager & Project Consultant (Pulses Mission PMU): Initial contract period of 11 months, which may be extended based on project requirement and performance, or will be co-terminus with the project period. Procurement Expert, Finance & Accounts Expert, Senior Consultant, Junior Consultant (Livestock Health Division PMU): Contract period till 15 June 2027, which may similarly be extended or made co-terminus with the project. NABCONS may terminate the contract at any time without prior notice or reason. In the normal course, termination will be with three months' notice within the contract period.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview; shortlisting is based on qualification, suitability, and experience after preliminary screening. Shortlisted candidates may also be assessed for proficiency in MS Office and data management. The interview may be conducted in person or through virtual mode. Candidates must submit self-attested copies of educational qualification and experience certificates at the time of interview; original documents are required for verification. Final appointment is subject to being found medically fit through a medical test protocol upon reporting at the place of posting. The decision of the selection committee and NABCONS management is final and binding; no correspondence will be entertained regarding eligibility, shortlisting, or selection outcome.
