Narayanpet ICDS Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 65 Anganwadi Teacher & Helper Posts

The Department of Women, Child, Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare, Narayanpet District, Telangana, has officially released Notification No. 740/AR/2026 dated 11 September 2026 for the recruitment of Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts. A total of 65 vacancies have been announced across the Maddur, Makthal and Narayanpet ICDS projects, including 31 Anganwadi Teacher and 34 Anganwadi Helper vacancies. Candidates planning to apply for the Narayanpet Anganwadi Teacher and Helper Recruitment 2026 should note the following dates from the official notification. The interview date, selection list, and further schedule are not specified in the notification and will be announced separately by the District Selection Committee.

A total of 65 posts are being filled across the three ICDS projects of Narayanpet district. All 34 Anganwadi Helper vacancies listed in the notification are specifically for candidates from tribal (Girijan) areas.

Candidates applying for Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts must have passed Intermediate (12th class) as the mandatory educational qualification. For the Anganwadi Helper post specifically, if no candidate with Intermediate/12th class qualification is available in a given area, a candidate with a lower qualification (SSC) will be considered for selection.

Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 1 July 2026. Before submitting the application, candidates are advised to verify that they meet the required age criteria. The notification invites applications from eligible women candidates only, for both Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts. Candidates for both Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts must be local women residents. In urban (Municipality) areas, the candidate must reside in the same ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located. In rural areas, the candidate must reside in the same Gram Panchayat where the Anganwadi Centre is located.

Selection of candidates for Narayanpet Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 is based on a total of 100 marks, distributed as follows: Every Anganwadi Centre reserved under the ST roster has been categorised project-wise into ST Group-1, ST Group-II, or ST Group-III. Eligible candidates belonging to the allotted group are given first preference. If candidates are not available within the allotted group, the vacancy is filled with candidates from other ST sub-categories as per the applicable reservation rules. For Anganwadi Teacher posts allocated to the ST category under the ST Sub-Plan, ST candidates from the same village/Gram Panchayat (or the same ward, in municipal areas) are eligible.
