NHM Mahabubnagar Recruitment 2025 - Apply Offline for 38 Staff Nurse, Physician and More Posts

The District Selection Committee, Mahabubnagar, functioning under the Office of the District Medical & Health Officer (DM&HO), Mahabubnagar District, Telangana, has released NHM Mahabubnagar Recruitment 2026 Notification No. 02/2026 for recruitment to 9 different post categories under the National Health Mission (NHM) programme. A total of 38 vacancies have been announced, including 15 vacancies for MLHP, 10 vacancies for Staff Nurse and 7 vacancies for Lab Technician, while the remaining posts have 1 vacancy each. Vacancies are distributed across NHM sub-programmes as follows. Post names repeat across programmes (for example, Lab Technician appears under three different sub-programmes); combined post-wise totals are given in the Qualification section below.

The notification additionally states that candidates must submit the university-approved conversion formula/method for converting Grade Points/CGPA into equivalent marks or percentage, wherever applicable, to facilitate preparation of the merit list.

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years, in terms of Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996. The minimum and maximum age is reckoned as on 01.07.2026, subject to the following relaxations for locking the maximum age limit as per rules in force. Note: The Method of Recruitment section separately states that, for the purpose of calculating age-based marks (10 marks out of 100), age is reckoned "as on 01-07-2024," which differs from the 01-07-2026 reckoning date given in the Age clause. The fee must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of the Administrative Officer, O/o DM&HO, Mahabubnagar.

Remuneration varies by post and programme, as detailed in the vacancy table above, ranging from ₹22,750 per month (Radiographer) to ₹1,00,000 per month (Pediatrician). MLHP and Physician MBBS/MD posts carry two remuneration figures (₹40,000/₹29,900 and ₹52,000/₹72,850 respectively); the notification does not specify what distinguishes the two figures for each post.

Selection is made by the District Selection Committee (DSC) on the following basis: Selection is done on merit, based on aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination, as per educational guidelines. A roster is followed for posts with more than one vacancy; the existing roster is continued. Total marks are 100: 90 marks for marks obtained in the qualifying examination, and 10 marks for age (0.5 mark per completed year of age from 18 years, up to a maximum of 10 marks).
