Eligibility is reckoned as on 31 May 2026 . NHSRCL has defined separate criteria for employees working in IDA pay scales (CPSEs/SPVs/Metro Railways) and CDA pay scales (Ministry of Railways/other Government Departments). Experience from Teaching, Faculty, Apprenticeship, Internship, Proprietorship, Partnership, or Freelancing will not be counted towards the required years of experience. Candidates wondering about MACP grade pay should note that higher grade pays granted under MACP by departments will not be taken into account for eligibility. Only the substantive grade will be considered for deciding the grade of absorption. Employees in IDA pay scales who do not meet the IDA-specific eligibility criteria may still be considered if they meet the CDA criteria applicable during their employment.

NHSRCL Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
NHSRCL has prescribed a non-refundable application fee for UR, EWS, and OBC candidates. SC, ST, and Women candidates are fully exempted from the fee. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year from the date of joining on absorption. The CTC figures are approximate. Medical standards applicable to all these posts are Executive/Technical : distant vision 6/96/9 or 6/66/12 with or without glasses, near vision JIJII, and normal colour, binocular, field, and night vision. Lasik surgery and radial keratotomy are not permitted.

Surety Bond Requirements
All selected candidates must execute a surety bond at the time of joining. A separate bond applies if the candidate undergoes formal training. NHSRCL will use a multi-stage selection process for all posts under Vacancy Notices 08/2026 to 20/2026. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for all posts from 08/2026 to 20/2026 may be conducted on the same day and at the same time, which is an important reason why candidates can apply for only one post. Computer Based Test (CBT) Interview Medical Examination Management reserves the right to include or dispense with any of these selection stages as deemed fit.
