A total of 2 vacancies are available - 1 for Asst. Manager (Hydro) and 1 for Asst. Manager (Transmission).

Asst. Manager (Hydro) Support studies and policy initiatives on hydro and pumped storage development Review DPRs, feasibility studies, and hydrological assessments Evaluate hydroelectric projects and emerging technologies Coordinate with CPSUs, State Utilities, CEA, and Ministry of Power Monitor hydro regulations, environmental clearances, and rehabilitation frameworks Asst. Manager (Transmission) Analyze power transmission sector developments and emerging technologies Review transmission project proposals, DPRs, and feasibility reports Undertake studies on grid expansion, renewable energy evacuation, and Green Energy Corridors Coordinate with Central/State utilities, CPSUs, Regulatory Commissions, CEA, and CTU Monitor transmission regulations, standards, and best practices

Maximum 35 years as on the closing date of application, for both posts.

Both posts carry a compensation of INR 15–20 Lakh per annum , on a regular basis.

The selected candidate must submit a self-declaration certifying no pending criminal case or disciplinary/appellate proceedings. The Competent Authority may verify antecedents within six months of engagement; confirmation of the provisional engagement depends on a satisfactory verification report. If any information furnished is found false, incorrect, or misleading, the engagement may be cancelled and civil/criminal proceedings may follow. Any matter not specifically covered under the notification will be decided by the Director General, PFI, and such decisions shall be final.
