A total of 172 Deputy Manager posts are being filled across 15 disciplines. The category-wise reservation breakup for each post is given below. Abbreviations: UR = Unreserved, SC = Scheduled Caste (M&B = Majhi & Bhatinda / R&O = Rest of Punjab, as per the notification's category codes), BC = Backward Class, PwD = Persons with Disabilities, ESM = Ex-Serviceman, EWS = Economically Weaker Section, FF = Freedom Fighter.

Additionally, qualification of Punjabi up to Matric standard is compulsory for direct recruitment and must be possessed on or before the last date for submission of the online application. During the probation period of 2 years, selected candidates will be paid a minimum basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month after statutory deductions. This probation pay does not include other allowances admissible to regular employees, except travelling allowance and mobile allowance. On successful completion of probation and regularization, the candidate will be allowed the regular pay scale of the post along with all admissible allowances as per Milkfed's service rules.
