The total number of vacancies available for the Research Scholar post is 1.

A candidate must be a citizen of India.

Maximum age of the candidate as on 1st January of year 2026 must not be more than 33 years.

A fixed honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month without any dearness or other allowance/perquisite, shall be paid to the Research Scholar.

Every candidate shall pay Rs. 100/- as fee through Demand Draft or Postal Order to be drawn in the name of Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Academy.

The selection process comprises shortlisting of applications based on research achievements, academic career and computer skills, followed by an interview by the Selection Committee assessing research/academic record as well as language communication and computer skills. Shortlisting of the applications may be done on the basis of research achievements, academic career and computer skills of incumbents. The Selection Committee shall assess the suitability of applicants after interviewing the candidates, considering their research/academic record as well as language communication and computer skills.

The engagement is purely temporary on a contractual basis initially for a term of two years, extendable for a further period of one year based on performance. Research Scholar shall not practice in any court of law nor be engaged/appointed elsewhere on honorarium/payment or otherwise during the engagement. If already enrolled with any Bar Council, the candidate shall get his/her enrolment suspended during the entire term of this engagement. A Research Scholar intending to leave engagement at premature stage shall be required to give prior notice of three months, or residuary term of engagement, whichever is less.
