SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant is recruiting Young Professionals across three levels with B.E./B.Tech (minimum 65% marks) and 3 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, last date 01 July 2026.

Young Professional – Level 1 | Upper Age: 35 Years | Experience: Minimum 3 Years Young Professional – Level 2 | Upper Age: 38 Years | Experience: Minimum 6 Years Young Professional – Level 3 | Upper Age: 42 Years | Experience: Minimum 10 Years Note: Essential B.E./B.Tech qualification must be Regular/Full-time from a Govt. recognised University/Institution with minimum 65% marks. Qualifications through Distance / Correspondence / Off-campus mode are NOT eligible. All relevant experience must be from a registered Company. CGPA will be converted to percentage as per University norms (or proportionately, e.g. 8.3/10 = 83%).

Payment is through Bill Desk Payment Gateway (online mode only). Any additional bank charges are to be borne by the candidate. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Failed transaction amounts will be automatically refunded to the originating account.

Monthly Consolidated Retainership Fee: Annual Increment: Subject to satisfactory performance, annual increment of 4%, 7%, or 10% may be allowed in the monthly consolidated retainership fee. Other Benefits: Residential Accommodation: Outstation YPs may be provided (subject to availability) 2-BHK accommodation at Rs. 3,000/month (YP-1 & YP-2) or 3-BHK at Rs. 5,000/month (YP-3). Electricity, water, and maintenance charges extra. During initial 3 months: SAIL-BSL Guest House/Transit House at Rs. 200/day (subject to availability); food at rates applicable to regular employees. Medical Facility: OPD & IPD at Company Owned Hospital for self, spouse and two dependent children on free-of-cost basis (no referral facility). Selection will be based on the following stages: Stage 1 – Scrutiny and Shortlisting: Applications received by closing date will be scrutinized and candidates shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. Stage 2 – Computer Based Test (CBT) (if applicable): If eligible applications exceed 5 times the requirement, SAIL-BSL may conduct a CBT/Aptitude/General Management/Psychometric Test through an external agency. Minimum qualifying marks: 50 percentile score. Shortlisting for interview will be in a 1:3 ratio on the basis of CBT performance. If fewer than 5 times applications are received, all eligible candidates may be called directly for interview. Fresh graduates with no post-qualification experience; minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience is mandatory even for YP-1. Candidates who do not hold a Regular/Full-time B.E./B.Tech with minimum 65% marks; Distance/Correspondence/Off-campus mode qualifications are explicitly not eligible. Candidates seeking permanent or regular employment; this is strictly a fixed-term "Contract for Service" with no right to regularization. Candidates whose post-qualification experience does not match the specific domain requirement of the applied role (e.g., applying as Refractory Engineer without Coke Oven experience, or Blast Furnace Consultant without Integrated Steel Plant operations experience). Candidates exceeding the upper age limit — 35 years for YP-1, 38 years for YP-2, 42 years for YP-3 — as on the closing date. Candidates who have not completed 23 years of age as on the closing date.
