Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 45% marks, in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002, AND a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of not less than one year, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE recognized institution. OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Candidates holding a Diploma in Elementary Education or B.El.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution may also be considered for appointment as Pre-school Teacher, provided they mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School/Early Childhood Education Programme recogniz
