SGOU Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Section Officer & Assistant Registrar Posts

The notification invites anticipated vacancies for the posts of Section Officer and Assistant Registrar on a contract basis.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Experience in ODL mode of Education. Proficiency in digital file processing, Office automation tools, e tendering, GeM procurement process. Experience in NAAC, NIRF, KIRF accreditation process.

Upper age limit is not more than 60 years as on 01/01/2026, with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC.

The official notification does not mention any application fee.

Selection shall be made by a duly constituted Selection Committee as per the University Act & Statutes. Short-listing may be based on academic record, teaching experience/research/academic score and ODL-relevant experience.

Matriculation / Higher Secondary certificate (proof of date of birth). Marksheets and degree certificates of Bachelor's Degree. Caste / PwBD certificate in the prescribed format (issued by competent authority), where claimed. Copy of P.P.O and Service Certificate.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of receipt of application. Mere issue of an admit/interview memo does not confer eligibility. All degrees and qualifications must be from a University/Institution recognized by the State/Central Government. Canvassing in any form or bringing external influence will lead to disqualification. Only natives of Kerala shall be eligible for the reservation benefits. Defective/late applications will be summarily rejected. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at [Kollam], [Kerala].
