SJVN Recruitment 2026 - Category-wise Reservation Details

Candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD categories must have scored 50% or more marks, while candidates in other categories need 55% or more marks in the essential qualification. Rounding off of percentage is not permitted; for example, 54.99% will not be considered as 55%. Minimum age for all posts is 18 years, and applicants must be Indian Nationals. Upper age limit inclusive of all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years. Age relaxation for PwBD candidates is applicable irrespective of whether the post is reserved for that category, provided the post is identified as suitable for PwBD. There is no upper age bar for internal applicants of SJVN. All posts require relevant post-qualification executive experience in Erection/Commissioning and/or Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of Coal-based Thermal Power Plants, including specific experience in Super Critical Thermal Power Plants of minimum 660 MW cap
