South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2026 Notification Out, Apply Online Starts July 22

South Indian Bank Ltd., a premier scheduled commercial bank in India, has invited online applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Probationary Officer (CA) in Scale I cadre. Eligible Chartered Accountants can apply only through the Bank's official website. Online applications are open from 22 July 2026 to 29 July 2026. The Bank has also issued an advisory to beware of fraudulent job alerts and to apply only through its official portal, as applications through any other mode will not be accepted. Eligibility is assessed as on 30 June 2026.

Maximum age: 30 years (as on 30 June 2026) Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates SC/ST candidates must submit attested copies of certificates from a competent authority to prove their category status when called for the Recruitment Process.

Selected candidates will be placed in Scale I cadre and will be paid the IBA-approved scale of pay applicable to Scale I Officers, which includes Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Special Allowance, and other allowances. A Performance Linked Incentive will also be paid as per the scheme applicable to Scale I officers.

Selected candidates must execute a service agreement to serve the Bank for a minimum of 2 years (active service) from the date of joining. If a candidate leaves before completing this period, they must pay Rs. 1,50,000 towards recruitment and training expenses and compensation for loss of opportunity to the Bank.

There is no application fee for this recruitment. The application fee is Nil for all categories.

Selection will be through Shortlisting, Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview. Mere eligibility does not guarantee a call for the Recruitment Process. The Bank reserves the right to modify the selection process and decide the number of applicants called for the process, considering the number of applications received. Shortlisting of candidates will be solely at the Bank's discretion. In matters of eligibility and selection, the Bank's decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
