Age Limit

DetailsAge Limit (as on 01/07/2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 44 years. | Note: As per G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Department, Dt. 18/05/2026, the upper age limit has been raised by 10 years (from 34 to 44 years). | Note: No person shall be eligible if they are at superannuation age after availing eligible age relaxations as on 01/07/2026. Employees of Corporations, Municipalities, etc., are not eligible for Government Employee age relaxation.

Qualification / Eligibility

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Bio-Technology / Mining / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University in India (established under Central/Provincial/State Act or recognized by UGC), OR qualified in Section A and B of AMIE (India) Civil Examination. Option 2: B.Tech / B.E. in any branch with a Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized University in India (established under Central/Provincial/State Act or recognized by UGC), OR qualified in Section A and B of AMIE (India) Civil Examination. Distance Education: Degrees obtained through Open Universities / Distance Education mode must be recognized by UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau. The onus of proof rests with the applicant. Qualification Date: The result of the required qualification must have been declared by the University as on the date of Notification i.e., June 2, 2026.
