Selection for Anganwadi Sahayika posts will follow a defined order of priority among eligible candidates from the same Gram Sabha/Ward: Category I: Below Poverty Line (BPL) widow → legally divorced/separated woman → other BPL women (in the same Gram Sabha/Ward, in order). Category II: Above Poverty Line (APL) widow → legally divorced/separated woman → other APL women (in the same Gram Sabha/Ward, in order, if no eligible candidate is available under Category I). Category III: If no eligible candidate is available in the above categories within the same Gram Sabha, category-wise selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat. Court-issued legal orders will be considered valid for verifying divorced/separated status. For widow status, certificates issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipality/Urban local body along with a certified copy of the family register will
