UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 191 Anganwadi Worker Posts in Raebareli District

The 191 vacancies are distributed project-wise across Raebareli district as follows: The village/ward-wise and centre-wise category reservation breakup has been displayed on the notice boards of the District Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, District Programme Office, all Tehsils, Nagar Palikas, Nagar Panchayats, Development Blocks, and Child Development Project offices, and is also available on upanganwadibharti.in.

Only women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri. The candidate must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or the same Ward (for urban areas) for which she is applying. The entire selection process will be governed by Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025.

The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri is Intermediate (12th pass) or its equivalent. Candidates with qualifications up to postgraduate level are also eligible to apply. Merit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. High School (10th) marks will not be included in merit calculation.

Selection for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri will be made on the basis of merit and category-wise reservation, following this priority order: Priority Category (a): Widow woman belonging to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward. Legally divorced or abandoned (deserted) woman belonging to a BPL family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward. If no widow/divorced/abandoned woman from a BPL family is available, other women belonging to a BPL family of the same Gram Sabha/Ward. Priority Category (b) - applicable only if no eligible candidate is found under Category (a): Widow woman belonging to an Above Poverty Line (APL) family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode. Offline or postal applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. Only residence and caste certificates issued online through the Tehsil digital portal and verifiable online will be accepted. Only income certificates issued by a competent authority as per the applicable Government Order, and verifiable online, will be accepted. The applicable poverty line (BPL/APL) income limit will be as notified under the Government Order issued by the Samaj Kalyan Anubhag-2, UP Government, dated 14.09.2015 (as amended), separately for rural and urban areas.
