Tie-Breaking Criteria for the UP State Merit List

When two or more candidates score equally in NEET UG 2026, DGME applies the following tie-breaking order to determine their position on the UP state merit list:

• Higher marks/percentile in Biology (Botany & Zoology)
• Higher marks/percentile in Chemistry
• Higher marks/percentile in Physics
• Lower ratio of incorrect to correct attempted answers across all subjects
• Candidate older in age

How to Download the UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 State Merit List

• Visit the official website, upneet.gov.in.
• Look for the notification titled "State Merit List NEET UG-2026 Round-1" under the notifications section on the homepage.
• Click on the available PDF download link.
• The merit list will open as a PDF document in a new tab.

How to Complete Choice Filling After the Merit List

• Log in to upneet.gov.in using your Roll Number and password.
