UPESSC Pravakta Eligibility Criteria
For most of the 26 subjects, the essential qualification is a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a university/deemed university established by law in India, together with a B.Ed (Shiksha Snatak) degree from an NCTE-recognised programme. A few subjects have a distinct qualification pattern: Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualification by the closing date for accepting applications. Applicants must be citizens of India. Vertical reservation for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories, subject-wise and gender-wise (boys'/girls' schools), is set out in Table-1 of the notification, following the U.P. UPESSC Pravakta Selection Process
Selection to Pravakta posts in aided schools (boys'/girls') is made out of a total of 400 marks , comprising a 360-mark written examination (based on 120 objective-type questions) and a 40-mark interview , on the basis of a merit list prepared from the combined score.
