The closing date for submission of the online application is also the date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect.

Posts 1, 3, and 4 are not reserved for any category but are identified as suitable for PwBD candidates. Post 6 and Post 7 are exclusively for Domiciles of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Desirable qualifications are also prescribed for most posts; these are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission for otherwise well-qualified candidates. Candidates are advised to verify complete eligibility details, including desirable qualifications, in the official notification before applying.

Age relaxation of up to 10 years is available for PwBD candidates (subject to a maximum age of 56 years on the closing date) on posts identified as suitable, irrespective of whether the post is reserved for PwBD or not. Additional relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers and Central/UT Government employees as detailed in the notification. Selection is made by interview, or by Recruitment Test (RT)/Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by interview, depending on the post; the notification does not specify which mode applies to each individual post above. Category-wise minimum level of suitability in the interview (out of 100 marks) is UR-50, OBC-45, and SC/ST/PwBD-40. Where an RT is held, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying level at both the RT and interview stages.
