A total of 1535 tentative vacancies have been announced across 194 post codes in multiple departments of the A&N Administration. The number of vacancies is tentative, based on input from indenting departments, and may increase or decrease at the sole discretion of the A&N Administration. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of receipt of online application (28-06-2026). Applicant must be an Indian National. The educational qualifications prescribed for the posts are available in Annexure-I of the Vacancy Notice for the specific post(s) the candidate wishes to apply. Candidates are advised to read Annexure-I carefully for post-specific essential qualification requirements. In general, posts at Pay Level 1–2 require Matriculation (10th class pass) or relevant ITI/trade certificate; posts at Pay Level 3–5 require relevant technical diploma/degree as specified per post.

A candidate must have attained 18 years of age and must not have attained 33 years (Male) / 38 years (Female) for Group C posts as on the closing date (28-06-2026). The crucial date for determining age limit is the closing date for receipt of online application. Age relaxation as detailed below is available over and above the upper age limit.

Candidates (except Female, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- by using Net Banking, VISA/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card, UPI Payment/QR Code through the online portal. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The selection process consists of Tier-I (Tablet Based Test – TBT Online Examination), followed by Tier-II (Physical Standard Examination / Physical Measurement and Endurance Test / Skill / Trade Test – qualifying in nature, where applicable), and Document Verification. Shortlisting for document verification will be based on merit in the TBT examination in the respective category. The Tier-II Physical/Skill/Trade Test is only of qualifying nature and will not add to the merit score. Final selection is based on Tier-I TBT marks. Cut-offs in TBT may differ for each post and will be fixed at the sole discretion of A&N Administration. Candidates who do not meet the educational qualification prescribed in Annexure-I for the specific post code they are applying for - qualifications vary widely from 10th pass to technical diploma/degree depending on the post. Candidates above the applicable age limit (33 years for Male / 38 years for Female for Group C UR) as on 28-06-2026 who do not qualify for any applicable age relaxation.
