CSIR-CSIO Driver Post - Physical Standards

The minimum age for all posts is 18 years. Standard age relaxation applies for OBC (NCL) candidates (3 years, where the post is reserved for that category), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (10 years, 13 years for OBC-PwBD, subject to a maximum age of 56 years), Ex-Servicemen (3 years, or deduction of actual military service), and Widows/Divorced/Judicially Separated Women (up to 35 years, 38 years for OBC), as per Government of India rules. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other benefits admissible to central government employees, along with Medical reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession and Children Education Allowance as per CSIR rules. Employees are covered under the New Pension Scheme.

The fee must be paid online only through State Bank Collect, and the transaction number must be entered correctly in the application form. Candidates should download and retain the e-receipt for future reference.
