CSIR IGIB has announced total of 2 vacancies for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff, distributed across categories as below. The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary at the time of selection, as per the notification.

Eligibility for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff is assessed as on the last date of online application, i.e., 26-08-2026.

Candidates must have passed SSC/10th Standard from a recognized Board, Institution, or University. Any other qualification recognized as equivalent will also be considered.

Upper age limit: 25 years as on 26-08-2026 Age relaxation of 5 years for SC candidates against reserved vacancies Age relaxation up to 35 years (40 years for SC) for widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from husbands, subject to documentary proof Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS candidates are not entitled to any age relaxation and must apply under the General (Unreserved) category ST candidates are not entitled to age relaxation but can avail a fee waiver by selecting the ST category and uploading their caste certificate

The post of Multi-Tasking Staff carries Pay Level-1 of the 7th CPC (Rs. 18,000-56,900). The approximate gross emoluments are Rs. 36,360/- per month, based on the minimum of the scale including HRA applicable to Delhi. Selected candidates are also entitled to usual allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and Transport Allowance (TA) as per CSIR/Government of India rules.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through SBI Collect. A copy of the SBI Collect e-receipt must be uploaded along with the online application.

Selection will be made through a single-stage OMR Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination. Total Questions: 100 | Total Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes Questions will be set in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language section The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in this single paper
