Important Instructions
Reservation for reserved categories is applicable only to candidates originally domiciled in Gujarat (Mool Gujarat). OBC/SEBC candidates from the Creamy Layer are NOT entitled to reservation benefits; they must apply as General (UR) candidates. Category once filled in the online application form cannot be changed after confirmation. Candidates must ensure the correct category is entered before confirming. Candidates with foreign university degrees must produce equivalence/recognition documents from UGC at the time of certificate verification. Candidates must keep their registered mobile number and email ID active throughout the entire recruitment process; exam-related communication including Admit Cards will be sent via SMS/email. The photograph uploaded in the application must be recent (not older than 1 year from the last date of application) with a white background and the date of photograph printed on it. Multiple copies of the same photograph must be kept for use at all stages. Candidates found guilty of impersonation, submission of false/forged documents, use of unfair means, canvassing, or any misconduct will be disqualified from this and future examinations, and may be permanently barred from Government service. The Gujarat Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 is applicable to all GSSSB competitive examinations. Any candidate found violating its provisions will face legal action. Passing the competitive examination does not automatically entitle a candidate to appointment. The appointing authority must be satisfied about the candidate's suitability in all respects. Appointed candidates will be required to undergo training as per Government rules and pass the training examination. GSSSB reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
