As per the official notification, GSSSB is inviting applications for a total of 1 post of Senior Industries Inspector, Class-3, reserved for candidates with Low Vision (LV) disability, with disability in the range of 40% to 70%. Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a fixed monthly pay of ₹49,600 for the first five years, as per Finance Department resolutions. On satisfactory completion of five years of service, the candidate becomes eligible for regular appointment in the 7th Pay Commission pay scale of ₹39,900 - ₹1,26,600 (Level-7), subject to the outcome of pending Supreme Court matters (SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012) referenced in the notification.

Selection will be made through a single-stage Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR-based Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination, divided into two parts: Total questions: 210 (90 in Part A + 120 in Part B).
