Gujarat Metro GMRC Recruitment 2026: 4 Land Acquisition & R&R Vacancies, Apply by 21 October

The three vacancies for Sr. Executive/Executive are shown together in the official vacancy table. The notification also states that the number of posts may vary depending on GMRC's further assessment of requirements.

Candidates applying for the Assistant Manager or Sr. Executive/Executive Land Acquisition and R&R posts must have a full-time postgraduate degree in MSW, or Master of Social Work, from a Government-recognised University or Institute. Applicants for Assistant Manager should have a social-work background and relevant experience in areas including land acquisition, provisions of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 and Government of Gujarat resolutions, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, implementation of R&R policies, social development, planning and monitoring, livelihood programmes, resettlement of project-affected persons, training and capacity building, and liaison with Government bodies and private agencies. Assistant Manager Experience

Sr. Executive and Executive Experience

Age and experience will be calculated as on 3 October 2026. The notification states that the age limit will not apply to GMRCL employees. However, this age relaxation does not apply to officials re-employed in GMRCL after superannuation.

For Assistant Manager, candidates from Government, PSU or Metro Rail organisations are required to meet the pay-scale conditions specified in the notification. Candidates may presently be working in the revised IDA scale of ₹50,000–1,60,000 or an equivalent CDA scale in Government, PSU or Metro Rail Corporation. Alternatively, candidates should have worked for at least two years in the revised IDA pay scale of ₹46,000–1,45,000 in a Non-Executive grade, ₹40,000–1,40,000 in an Executive grade, or Level 6 under the 7th CPC in Government, PSU or Metro Rail Corporation. Another permitted condition is at least four years in the revised IDA pay scale of ₹40,000–1,25,000 in a Non-Executive grade, ₹35,000–1,10,000 in an Executive grade, or equivalent CDA scale. Applicants from the private sector should have a minimum CTC of ₹70,000 per month.

GMRC states that preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Gujarat State for around five to seven years, particularly in urban or revenue offices or branches of the Government of Gujarat, and who are conversant with Gujarati language and typing. Candidates who have worked for more than five years in Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar and are familiar with the geography of the city will also be preferred.

The official notification identifies Personal Interview, Document Verification and Medical Examination as the selection components. It also separately states that document verification of candidates will be conducted before the interview and that candidates must carry their original certificates. Candidates working in PSU, Government Boards, Government organisations or Metro Rail Corporations should also submit the last five years' APAR records with the application on or before the interview date. Selected candidates are likely to be posted at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat or other GMRC projects anywhere in Gujarat. The notification states that HRA for IDA/CDA-scale employees may vary according to the place of posting and applicable Government and company policies.

For deputation candidates, pay and other terms will be governed by the standard deputation conditions. GMRC also states that other benefits will be provided according to company policy, including Group Medical Coverage and Group Personal Accident Insurance Coverage under the applicable GMRCL policies.

GMRC will shortlist eligible applicants and issue interview call letters through the registered email address. The call letter will contain the interview date, time and venue. The notification does not announce a fixed interview schedule.
