The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the JENPAS UG 2026 Round 1 counselling seat allotment result on August 12, 2026 at the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates who registered and completed choice filling between August 6 and 10, 2026 can now log in with their roll number and password to check whether they have been allotted a seat, and if so, in which college, course, and category quota.

Who Was Eligible for Round 1 Seat Allotment

Only candidates who met the following conditions were considered for the JENPAS UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment:

• Held a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) or BHA Merit Rank (BMR) in the JENPAS UG 2026 merit list.
• Completed online counselling registration and paid the counselling registration fee.
• Completed and locked their choice of courses/colleges between August 6 and 10, 2026.

Candidates who did not lock their choices within the window, or who registered but did not complete fee payment, were not considered for Round 1 allotment.

How to Check JENPAS UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

• Visit the official WBJEEB website: wbjeeb.nic.in.
• Click on the JENPAS (UG) 2026 counselling / e-counselling link on the homepage.
• Select the "Round 1 Seat Allotment Result" or "Candidate Login" link.
• Enter your JENPAS UG 2026 roll number and password (and security pin, if asked).
• Submit to view your seat allotment status.
• If allotted a seat, download and save the allotment letter, and take a printout for reporting.

Next Steps After Seat Allotment

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must complete the following steps within the notified window:

• Pay the seat acceptance fee online before the deadline of August 16, 2026, to confirm the allotted seat.
• Download the allotment letter from the candidate login portal.
• Report in person to the allotted institute between August 12 and 16, 2026, for physical document verification.
• Carry original documents with self-attested photocopies as required by the allotted institute.
