Candidates already employed in the Central Government, State Government or a PSU should submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer, and the same should be mentioned in the application. Any form of canvassing by a candidate will render their candidature liable to be summarily rejected at any stage of the recruitment process. The Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, MP&CG, has the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason, and to accept or reject the candidature of any applicant. In the event of any tie (other than those specifically addressed above), the decision of the Pr. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax MP&CG (CCA) shall be final. The Department reserves the right to change the last date for submission of application, publishing of shortlisted candidates for written examination, date of written examination/skill test, or publication of final result, if required. Candidates' admission at all stages of the examination is purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification at any time before or after the written examination, it is found that a candidate does not fulfil any eligibility condition, their candidature will be cancelled. The crucial date for claiming SC/ST/OBC/PwBD status or any other benefit (reservation, age relaxation, etc.), where not specified otherwise, is the closing date for receipt of online applications, i.e., 31-08-2026. A person seeking appointment on the basis of OBC reservation must ensure they do not fall in the creamy layer on the cut-off date. A person seeking appointment on the basis of EWS reservation must possess an Income & Asset certificate valid for the financial year 2026-2027, issued on the basis of income for financial year 2025-26, in accordance with DoP&T OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31-01-2019. Candidates are cautioned that they will be debarred from the examination if they fraudulently claim SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM status or avail any other benefit. Candidature will remain provisional till the veracity of relevant documents is verified. Action against misconduct: If any candidate is found to indulge in malpractice at any stage of the recruitment process or thereafter, their candidature shall be cancelled. The Department may report the matter to Police/Investigating Agencies and take appropriate action, including examination by forensic experts. Any dispute regarding this recruitment will be subject to Bhopal jurisdiction, and the decision of the Department on all related matters will be final and binding.
