Selected candidates will be required to perform duties under either the Hospitality or Housekeeping stream, in addition to any specific duties assigned in organisational interest. Hospitality Stream: Cooking, kitchen management, presentation of dishes, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, safe storage of food and other items, handling crockery/cutlery/refrigeration, laying tables/chairs, and serving food and water. Housekeeping Stream: Cleaning of floors, roads, rooms, bathrooms, commodes, and urinals; making brooms; cutting grass/hedges; ground levelling and digging trenches; watering gardens; washing utensils and clothes; filling and carrying water; handling office equipment; and additionally, hair cutting, shaving, head massage, ironing clothes, stitching or repair of leather items, shoe polishing, and cutting/stitching/altering garments.

Agniveervayu Non-Combatant recruited under this scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment, along with risk and hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), dress and travel allowances, and perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) as per existing rules. After four years, the total contribution to the Agniveer Corpus Fund is approximately ₹5.02 lakh from the individual and a matching ₹5.02 lakh from the Government of India, giving an approximate exit amount of ₹10.04 lakh as the Seva Nidhi package (absolute amount, excluding interest). Candidates whose applications are accepted will be issued admit cards for the written test, which will state the date, location, and time of the test. Selection in the Indian Air Force is fair, transparent, and merit-based only; no bribe is required at any stage.
