ISRO ISTRAC Apprentice 2026 vacancies are distributed across three apprentice categories and multiple engineering disciplines. Graduate Apprentices require a B.E./B.Tech degree, Diploma Apprentices require a state board diploma, and ITI Trade Apprentices require an ITI certificate in the notified trade. The ISRO ISTRAC Apprentice 2026 eligibility rules are strict and candidates should verify each condition carefully before applying. Only those who passed their qualifying examination as regular candidates are eligible - correspondence, private, or sandwich course degrees are not accepted. Candidates currently pursuing higher studies (e.g., B.E./B.Tech for diploma holders) are also not eligible. Graduate Apprentice (GA01-GA06): B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline from any recognised University. For GA07 (Library Science): MLISc. (Library and Information Science). Diploma Apprentice (DA01-DA06): Diploma in Engineering awarded by a recognised State Board in the respective discipline. DA06 requires Diploma in Commercial Practice. The ISRO ISTRAC Apprentice selection process consists of document scrutiny followed by an in-person interview. There is no written examination. Candidates shortlisted after screening will be called to the respective location for document verification and interview, and a merit panel will be drawn based on academic scores and interview performance. Application Scrutiny: Submitted emails are screened for eligibility and completeness. Shortlisting: Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on academic percentage and other criteria. Document Verification / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called to the respective centre.
