The posts at UIET Janglote are non-transferable and are exclusively for the UIET, Janglote campus. The number of vacancies shown is tentative and may increase or decrease at the time of selection.

Candidates must note the following dates for University of Jammu UIET Recruitment 2026. A total of 23 vacancies are notified across 13 posts at UIET, Janglote, Kathua. The post-wise and category-wise breakdown is given below. Multi-Tasking Staff accounts for the largest share with 6 posts, followed by Accounts Assistant with 1 post at this campus. Horizontal reservation shall be granted as per the norms. A 5% reservation benefit for wrestlers is not mentioned for these posts in this notification.

Eligibility requirements differ by post. All candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must upload a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. Where a university follows a grading system, Grade "B" on the seven-point scale (grade point 3.50–4.49) is treated as equivalent to 55%. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,300/- is applicable for all the above-mentioned posts. Payment must be made through the recruitment portal payment gateway. An application is considered successfully submitted only after the fee has been paid. The fee once paid will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances.

All posts carry pay as per the 7th Pay Commission matrix. The Foreman post carries the highest pay level in this notification at Level-6E (Rs. 35,900–1,13,500) , while Multi-Tasking Staff is at SL1 (Rs. 14,800–47,100) . Selected candidates will be placed on probation for one or two years as per the recommendations of the selection committee.
